State-owned Russian lender VTB (VTBR.RS) will compensate "Mom and Pop" investors that took part in its disastrous 2007 initial public offering by buying back up to 500,000 rubles ($16,800) worth of their shares, the Vedomosti business daily says Thursday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.
